Legislation requires employers to use a safety sign whenever there is a risk that cannot be controlled by any other means.

The SignShop have, for many years, produced health and safety and public information signs for local authorities, housing associations, public spaces, working depots and construction sites.

Another speciality is the production of quality road traffic signs, all of which are made to DfT (Department for Transport) regulations. For this we have successfully gained accreditation to the Government’s Sector Scheme 9A for the manufacture of permanent traffic signs.

All health and safety signs are produced to the British standard for safety signs BS 5499, which ensures compliance with The Health & Safety (Safety Signs & Signals) Regulations 1996. All of our operatives are trained in Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual (Traffic Safety Measures & Signs for Road Works & Temporary Situations 2006).
